“I am an artist interested in the relationship between words and movement, images and feeling.”
Whether performing as a Solo Artist or working in collaboration with others, her choreography poetically blends dance with voice and uses movement to paint images with the body.
Kimberli’s eclectic movement and choreographic style are informed by the study of classical ballet, various modern dance techniques, and improvisational methods.
Her work has been presented in formal concert halls, as well as in intimate settings such as art galleries, places of worship and women’s centers.
She was one of 10 dancers whose work was chosen to appear in “Women’s Voices in the Arts,” a concert series presented as part of the Cultural Olympiad of the 1996 Games in Atlanta, GA.
